The Red Sun

Her:

The sun is red today
Of all the agonies and pain
That withered her color away
The sun is red today
The color of betrayal and happiness
Of lust and moments of sadness
The sun is red today
Almost like a never ending sunset
My thoughts are running deep
Words aren't falling into the right places
Of all the mysteries and dreams
I feel like losing myself in it
Red is the color I'm wearing
Uncanny as if it was predestined
The sun and me
So different
Yet alike.

Of all the happiness and hope
Embracing the brightness  within
The sun is red today
The colour of blood and life
Of birth and moments of pain
The sun is red today
It finally ends in its serene sunset
My thoughts finally put to sleep
Words no longer have the spirit
Heart has no strength to beat
Upon the final moments my lips betray a final smile
The sun flows out of my veins
I patiently wait for it to trickle out
The light is now just a fade
The sun and me so different
Yet together we set.
