You and me like the river and like sea,
One filled with frolic, the other impossible to forsee;
You move with grace filling the path with life and joy,
I stay still in depth or move frantically to destroy;
One so young filled with energy and so much life,
Other as old as time, placed with dark memories and plenty of strife;
The river so beautiful keeps flowing, till it meets the sea,
The ocean unscathed, sometimes relentless, but remains forever free.
