My Friend My Saviour

When I told her my feelings,

She so broke my heart.

Did not think it would hurt me,

She just tore me apart.

I feel so hollow and left out,

How could she leave me alone?

She knew I had no friends,

How could she be such a stone!

There were no tears to shed,

I was dead from within.

I felt nothing in my heart,

No more pain on the skin.

Then I met a good friend,

She brought me back to life.

She healed my heart somehow,

And removed the rusted knife.

I can’t thank her enough,

She is one of the very few.

Thank You For Being There

Care for me not so much that I can’t breathe,

You are the only one for me the only one I need;

But I don’t want to hope for something which can never be,

I don’t want to make you magically fall in love with me.

Don’t take away my life which is my pain,

If you later leave me I might go insane;

Let’s so be close but still remain far,

I can’t bear to see you with another scar.

I know you care for me more than any ever could,

All left me alone but you always stood;

Maybe in next life we can be together atleast,

Maybe I’ll be a better self and not such a beast.

Thinking about you

Its so late now but I think about you in the dark,

Just few moments with you has left me such a deep mark;

Thinking about you throughout the whole night,

Waiting to see your face at the dawn of the morning light.

Your voice reminds me of wind passing rain wet trees,

Your touch feels soothing as the autumn breeze;

I know you so less but it feels as it is meant to be be,

Is it true that you were sent only for me?

Why does my heart beat so fast as I think of your name?

Is this the end of my wait or fate’s small little game?

I am scared to come near so afraid to lose you so fast,

I hope my search has ended, I hope you are the one at last!

The way you roll your eyes when you give a smile,

You look as beautiful as a bride walking down the aisle;

Look like a snow princess in the color white,

I think about you all day and night.

When you thank me for nothing special done,

As you laugh gleeful when you have some fun;

My heart skips a beat everytime I watch you go,

I care for you truly and this I hope you know.

When you dress beautiful it makes me feel nice,

Can’t stop looking at you as you make me look twice;

Always keep smiling ‘cos that’s what I love about you,

Makes me remember the first rain and the soft dew.
