I stare into the emptiness which keeps growing deep and wide,
Engulfing darkness screams at me from every nook every side;
The calm deafens all even the loudest cheer,
Sets affront every shabby wrath, all possible fear.
I wade in the darkness towards the tiny light,
Wishing every moment that it could have been a little more bright;
Dark waters slow me down all throughout the mucky way,
Not a soul to talk to, there is nothing more to say.
It grows bigger, the light and turns into a steady gleam,
Does that look like hope or so it only seems?
I look above me to find no clouds, no starts, no sky,
Reach the buzzing light to meet a dying firefly.
Engulfing darkness screams at me from every nook every side;
The calm deafens all even the loudest cheer,
Sets affront every shabby wrath, all possible fear.
I wade in the darkness towards the tiny light,
Wishing every moment that it could have been a little more bright;
